Who we are
Maple & Birch is a small-batch creamery operating at 142 Mill Street, Almonte, Ontario. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit our website or contact us.
What information we collect
When you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your message, and any information you choose to share. When you book an event or place a wholesale order, we collect a name, phone number, billing address, and payment information necessary to fulfil the order. We do not collect personal information from website visitors beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) retained for 30 days for security and operational purposes.
How we use information
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, fulfil your order, or schedule your event. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver your order (for example, our delivery partner for wholesale shipments).
How we store information
Email enquiries are stored in our business email account, retained for the lifetime of an active customer relationship and one year after. Order records are retained for seven years per Canadian tax requirements. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

As a Canadian business, we operate under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and withdraw consent for our continued use of your information.
